Ringleader Lani Ramos pushes a southern blues/rock formula with an impressive range of vocal styles drawing on influences including Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Jim Morrison, and Robert Plant. With a mezzo-soprano voice and 3½ octave vocal range, Ramos has been a staple on Frenchmen Street clubs since 2002. Known for a dominating stage presence and charismatic storytelling personality, the band brings raw energy and the true grit and spirit of New Orleans to every performance.
