Bio
Amarillo by Morning is a George Strait tribute band centered on the songs that made Strait a country mainstay and Hall of Famer. The show is built to feel like a full concert presentation, with familiar hits and deeper catalog choices that longtime fans will recognize right away.
Fronting the band is country vocalist and Grammy-nominated singer Rowdy McCarran. His performance keeps the focus on the material itself, bringing George Strait’s songs to the stage with a style shaped by the warmth, conviction, and straight-ahead delivery listeners connect with in the original recordings.
The set draws from well-known songs including Check Yes or No, The Chair, and Ocean Front Property, alongside titles like You Look So Good in Love and Nobody in His Right Mind Would’ve Left Her. It also reaches across different eras of Strait’s catalog, from early songs such as Unwound and Fool Hearted Memory to later crowd favorites like Give It Away and Heartland.
For buyers, the appeal is clear and easy to place: a dedicated George Strait tribute with a recognizable song list, a frontman named in the act copy, and a concert-style format built around timeless country material. It is a straightforward option for audiences who want the heart, storytelling, and spirit of George Strait’s music in a live tribute setting.
