ABBA tribute
A Tribute to ABBA with the songs, harmonies, costumes, and choreography of the ’70s
Dancing Dream is a New York City-based ABBA tribute band founded in 2009 by European singers Halina Ulatowski and Agnes Jawien. The show centers on ABBA hits including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Take a Chance, and Fernando, with a presentation built around lead singers in the roles of Agnetha and Frida, harmonies, costumes, and choreography.
The act formed as interest in Mamma Mia continued to grow and has since been invited to summer concerts across the country, drawing audiences of all age groups. In its first year, Dancing Dream was featured on The Colbert Report with Stephen Colbert.
Since then, the band has toured Florida and performed in theaters, colleges, popular clubs, outdoor concerts, and Scandinavian festivals in California, North Dakota, New York, and New Jersey. They also perform often at New York casinos including Empire Casino and Resorts World Casino, as well as at BB King's in Times Square.
For buyers looking for a clear ABBA tribute format, Dancing Dream offers a set built around widely recognized songs and a stage presentation that leans into the look and feel associated with the group’s 1970s era.
