Jeff Grainger and the Hoboken 11

Frank Sinatra tribute

Frankenmuth, MI

Bio

Jeff Grainger knew at a young age he liked to sing, imitating songs on the radio and performing for family. Then at college the karaoke trend started and he enjoyed going out and trying to sound exactly like the artist he was singing. A friend recommended he try to do Sinatra and gave him a cassette to listen to and it changed his life. From there on he immersed himself in Sinatra and Sinatra’s close friend Dean Martin, learning they’re unique phrasing and interpretations of each magical song they recorded. He started performing at friend’s weddings and when people asked if he was lip-syncing he thought he might be on to something. Eventually he started performing at mostly Italian restaurants and private parties, where he honed his skills. Then he joined his first Rat Pack show as Dean Martin and got his toes wet performing with a big band and adding that special Dino humor and charisma to his act. Grainger has a unique way of channeling Dean and Frank when he performs, leaving audiences thinking they’re listening to the real thing when they close their eyes. In 2015, he co-produced and starred in the highly successful Sinatra Sintennial Show, commemorating Sinatra’s 100th birthday all across Florida at casinos such as Hard Rock Hollywood and Seminole Immokalee and Coconut Creek. He continues to pay tribute to the greats all across the country at various venues and events such as concerts, festivals, corporate events, weddings, and private parties.
