Lil Luis y Los Wild Teens play late 1950s rock n roll from Los Angeles, with a lineup connecting directly to the original Wild Teens. Luis Arriaga handles vocals and rhythm guitar, while Angel Hernandez plays drums; both were constant members of the original group. Alex Vargas plays bass and Carlos Gomez plays guitar. The band was formed to create a recorded representation of the Wild Teens, who broke up 10 years prior, and recorded their music on Wild Records, a Los Angeles-based independent label specializing in late 1950s and 1960s rock n roll.
