Bio
Playing Dead is a Grateful Dead tribute featuring former members of Dark Star Orchestra, Slipknot!, and Uncle John's Band.
Their marathon sets draw on music and jams from the full Grateful Dead catalog, reflecting the range of styles associated with the band, including rock, blues, jazz, folk, and bluegrass.
Like the Grateful Dead’s live shows, Playing Dead keeps each performance unique with different set lists each night and improvisational jams throughout. The result is a faithful recreation of the feel of a live Grateful Dead concert.
