Sounds of Summer is a Southern Indiana-based tribute to The Beach Boys built around the songs people know. The show features more than 30 hits and focuses on the vocal harmonies, style, and spirit that made the original band a staple of 1960s pop.
Along with the music, the show tells the story of The Beach Boys’ rise to fame, giving buyers a clear format that goes beyond a straight song list. Audiences can expect familiar titles including Surfin’ USA, Good Vibrations, California Girls, Kokomo, Wouldn’t It Be Nice, God Only Knows, Help Me, Rhonda, Barbara Ann, I Get Around, and Fun, Fun, Fun.
The group is made up of four musicians who have been friends since grade school and have been performing together since 2015. In September 2016, they were featured on AXS TV’s World’s Greatest Tribute Bands, where they performed a live hour-long special.
