The Sons of Bocephus

Growing up in the South, there are a few things you are born and raised to love! Football, the great outdoors, and Hank Williams Jr! We were raised on the southern rocking country sounds of Family Tradition, Country Boy Can Survive, Born to Boogie, My Name is Bocephus, and all the other great songs we play tribute to night in and night out. Based out of Dallas, Texas, the Sons of Bocephus, aka the SOB’s, have taken their Authentic Hank Jr Tribute Show to 13 States since 2019. In 2021, the SOB’s were named “Tribute Band of the Year” at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. The JMA’s are the world’s largest independent music awards show. Since then, we have been nominated and/or won a plethora of awards including: 2021 Josie Music Awards Tribute Band of the Year – WINNER 2022 Josie Music Awards Tribute Band of the Year – NOMINEE 2022 Josie Music Awards Songwriting Achievement Award – WINNER – Forgotten Man 2023 Texas Regional Radio Music Awards – Best New Duo/Group – NOMINEE 2023 Josie Music Awards Tribute Band of the Year – NOMINEE 2023 Josie Music Awards Traditional Male Vocalist of the Year – NOMINEE 2023 Social Impact Song of the Year – “Forgotten Man” – NOMINEE – 2023 Social Impact Music Video of the Year – “Forgotten Man” – NOMINEE 2023 TIRC Awards – Best Emerging Band – WINNER AWARDS SHOW HELD IN OCT 2023 This show is Authentically Hank!
