Bio
The Wankers are a U.S.-based Britpop and beyond tribute act from Montclair, New Jersey, with a tongue-in-cheek Manchester angle built into the presentation.
Their set pulls from a wide range of UK and adjacent icons, including Coldplay, Blur, Oasis, Radiohead, Supergrass, The Smiths, The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, The Clash, Depeche Mode, Elvis Costello, Duran Duran, and more, along with The Cranberries.
Rather than centering on a single artist, The Wankers frame the show around dozens of bands from the Britpop era and beyond. The result is a repertoire built around recognizable classics and a clear UK-focused identity that is easy to place on a bill.
