The Wichita Lineman is a Glen Campbell tribute led by Arkansas native Carl Acuff Jr., featuring songs from Campbell’s great catalog, including Rhinestone Cowboy, By the Time I Get to Phoenix, Gentle on My Mind, and Wichita Lineman. The show combines the music with Glen and Carl’s down-home Arkansas humor. Three formats make booking flexible: an acoustic unplugged show, a midsized show, or a full 7-piece production. The show uses Glen Campbell’s original charts from his farewell tour, provided by his keyboard player of 30 years after Campbell’s passing. The Wichita Lineman is also on the Arkansas Arts on Tour Roster and eligible for certain Midwest Area Art Association grant money.
