Bio
Sacred Fire Band is a San Francisco Bay Area Santana tribute founded in 2003 by guitarist and band leader Al Bruggman. Named Latin Band of the Year at the 2019 NCEM Awards, the band delivers soaring lead guitar, swirling organ and a driving Latin percussion section, with every note played live and no backing tracks. Lead vocalist Aki Starr also fronts the legendary Latin rock band MALO. The band has performed with Santana alumni including Karl Perazzo, Tony Lindsey, Myron Dove and David Margen. Choose the core seven-piece show or the expanded ten-piece concert with trumpet, trombone and sax. Sacred Fire Band plays festivals, fairs, casinos, concert series, wineries and private events across the Bay Area and beyond.
