Billy Nation

Billy Nation is a Billy Joel tribute led by pianist and vocalist Adam Shapiro, built around classics from the '70s, '80s, and '90s. Grand piano, saxophone, harmonies, and audience engagement keep the focus on a recognizable Billy Joel concert feel.

Billy Nation is a Billy Joel tribute built around the songs that made his catalog a staple of the '70s, '80s, and '90s. The show centers on Billy Joel classics drawn from a catalog with over 33 Top 40 hits, with a set that moves from singalong anthems like Piano Man to rockers like You May Be Right to ballads like Just the Way You Are.

The sound and presentation lean into the details audiences associate with Billy Joel’s live music: signature grand piano, growling saxophone, rich harmonies, and active audience engagement. The goal is not just to play the songs, but to reflect Billy Joel’s stylistic range and the look and aesthetics connected to his concerts.

Led by pianist and vocalist Adam Shapiro, Billy Nation focuses on recreating the spirit, energy, and atmosphere of Billy Joel’s earlier live shows. It is a tribute designed for buyers who want a clear, recognizable Billy Joel concert experience rather than a general classic rock cover set.
