Brown Eyed Women is the world's only all-female Grateful Dead tribute ensemble. They feature musicians from popular bands around the country and celebrate the music of the Grateful Dead with their unique spin. Their high-caliber musicianship and shared love of the Grateful Dead drew them together. This band is decidedly different in a field brimming with tribute acts. BEW brings authentic jams and a heart and soulful approach to the Grateful Dead catalog. 2026 brings new players into the fold. This is all bigger than re-creating songs — it's about community, connection, and supporting women in music, especially within the Grateful Dead community. Current members include Denise Parent (Drummer and Lead Vocalist), Jill Simmons (Lead Vocalist), Caroline Killoh (Keyboardist and Vocalist), Jen Rund (Bass Guitar), Liv Zutphen (Lead Guitar), and Patti Spadaro (Rhythm Guitar).
