Dance To The Music recreates Sly And The Family Stone’s music and the era around it, including costumes, vocals and production details. The ten-piece multicultural band performs groove-driven rock, soul, R&B, funk and psychedelia with a strong vocal and instrumental focus. Musical director, keyboard player and producer Nathan Owens brings expertise in vocal arrangements and music production. Co-producer and performer Marten Benatar is a veteran entertainer, drummer and vocalist. Together, they developed a high-energy tribute to the first integrated, multi-gender band associated with the Woodstock Generation.
