Dead Man's Party is a Los Angeles Oingo Boingo tribute band that has been performing Boingo songs live for over a decade, with a show built around the sound and lineup feel of the original Oingo Boingo band.
The band performs as an 8-piece, fashioned after the original Oingo Boingo lineup, with a three-piece horn section, guitar, bass, keys, drums, and a frontman whose look and vocal delivery are often compared to Danny Elfman.
Dead Man's Party has been Elfo-approved by Oingo Boingo founder Richard Elfman. The band is also sometimes joined on stage by former Oingo Boingo members including Steve Bartek, Johnny Vatos Hernandez, and John Avila.
