Kruk first played Elvis for Steve Martin on the Broadway tour of Picasso at The Lapin Agile. He also performed the Elvis role alongside Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette in the live read of Quentin Tarantino’s True Romance, sponsored by LACMA and Film Independent and directed by Jason Reitman.
On screen, Kruk recorded two songs as Elvis for the 2013 film Pawn Shop Chronicles, starring Brendan Fraser, Elijah Wood, Norman Reedus, and Paul Walker. Director Wayne Kramer said Kruk saved the film with his vocals.

Perfection. Everything we wanted and more. The King entered the building and put on a show that will remain in everyone's minds for decades. We had a party of about 100 guests and had a stage and sound system ready. The King arrived and performed to the hilt. Everyone was on their feet. A conga line occurred. There was crowd surfing, slow dancing...it was an incredible night. This is your King. This is a true showman!
