Los Angeles-based Hurrikane has performed its Scorpions tribute since 2010, focusing on the songs’ original sound along with the band’s stage moves and choreography. Their set includes Rock You Like a Hurricane, No One Like You, Wind of Change, and more.

Formed in 2010 and based in Los Angeles, California, Hurrikane is a tribute to The Scorpions. The band takes its name from Rock You Like a Hurricane, the landmark Scorpions song from the 1984 album Love at First Sting, and focuses on reproducing the songs as they were originally created and performed.

Hurrikane centers its show on the power, energy, technical details, choreographies, and stage moves associated with The Scorpions. The set includes Rock You Like a Hurricane, No One Like You, In Trance, Big City Nights, The Zoo, Holiday, Bad Boys Running Wild, Still Loving You, Blackout, Dynamite, Wind of Change, and dozens of other songs.

A notable moment for the band came on February 22, 2013, when Scorpions drummer James Kottak sat in with Hurrikane and played two songs. According to the band, he was impressed and gave his personal endorsement approval.

The band also highlights lead singer Golfredo Bastida’s countertenor voice in the style of Klaus Meine, along with each musician’s effort to represent their respective Scorpions character onstage.
