Band story
Purple Reign is an award-winning Prince tribute show featuring Jason Tenner as Prince, recreating the era and blistering performances that made The Artist an international superstar. From small UNLV college clubs to late-night TV, the group became the first tribute act to appear as the musical guest on Late Show with David Letterman. Purple Reign was named Best Tribute Act in the 28th annual Las Vegas Review-Journal Poll, won Best Impersonator in the 2014 LVRJ poll, and opened season 3 of AXStv’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands.
