About Us
Band story
Refugee was formed in early 2014 by six seasoned New York musicians who share a deep appreciation for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Their performances pay tribute to Tom Petty with love, respect, and a commitment to doing justice to his brilliant catalogue of music. Though he was taken too soon, his beautiful legacy lives on through Refugee’s performances.
