Shock Proof is a high-energy 90's radio rock tribute band based out of LA. The band is comprised of industry professional who not only have written and produced their own music, but have also worked with many studios, nationally touring acts, and even grammy winners. No matter the occasion, whether you have a bar, club, restaurant, or casino that needs entertainment, or if you are a private entity throwing a corporate event, wedding, holiday or birthday party, Shockproof always brings the energy to make your event memorable.

​Formed in 2020 by lead singer Galen Abts and guitarist Kevin Comer, Shock Proof started in the halls of Musicians Institute and quickly moved to the stages of LA's live performance venues. Joined by fellow Musicians Institute instructors Kevin Lambertucci (bass), Nate Rich (guitar), and Jake Bell (drums), the 5-piece brings decades of combined touring experience and stellar musicianship to the stage. Since the addition of these three members, Shockproof has played bars, clubs, private events, and casinos all over the southwest United States.

​Jake has recorded and performed with country star Pete Anderson, is a drum tech for Steve Gadd, and tours with his own original LA punk band, CC Potato. Kevin Lambertucci has toured with Booker T of the world renowned Stax Records house band, Booker T & the MGs. Galen Abts performs, writes, and records with his LA based original rock band, Illicit which is produced by Grammy Award winner Francis Buckley, and is a solo folk/grunge artist under the name Galen Keith. Nate Rich is a solo artist, clinician, composer that has toured and performed with the likes of Scott Henderson, Matt Cermanski, and Open Mike Eagle. And Kevin Comer works as a session guitarist and bassist, music educator, and performer in the LA area.
