Kenny Cetera's Chicago Experience is a tribute to Chicago led by South Side Chicago native Kenny Cetera.
Raised in a deeply musical family, Kenny grew up around constant singing, harmonizing, and rehearsal. He says, Being a singer was inevitable for me.
Kenny has recorded with Chicago, Peter Cetera, Richard Marx, Kenny Rogers, Julio Iglesias, Bill Champlin, Agnetha Faltskog of ABBA, and producer David Foster.
In 1984, he added his tenor vocals to several songs on Chicago 17, including You're the Inspiration, Stay The Night, Along Comes A Woman, and Prima Donna. He was then recruited by Chicago for one of the most memorable tours in the band's history.
On that tour, Kenny brought a live vocal element the band had not had before: two Cetera voices together. He also played drums, percussion, and keyboards, becoming a major part of the stage show, a fan favorite, and a lasting part of Chicago's musical heritage.
For buyers looking at Chicago tributes, the connection is direct: Kenny Cetera performed on Chicago 17 and toured with the band. This act is built around that history and those songs.
