The Sons of Bocephus, an award-winning tribute band based in Dallas, Texas, celebrates the legacy of Hank Williams Jr through their authentic southern rock shows, blending his hits with influences from iconic bands, and achieving acclaim across multiple states and music awards since 2019.

Based in Dallas, The Sons of Bocephus deliver an authentic Hank Williams Jr. tribute show built around songs including Family Tradition, Country Boy Can Survive, Born to Boogie, and My Name is Bocephus. Their gritty Southern rock set also draws from Charlie Daniels Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, David Allen Coe, and Marshall Tucker Band. The band has taken its show to 13 states since 2019 and was named Tribute Band of the Year at the 2021 Josie Music Awards. They also won the 2022 Josie Music Awards Songwriting Achievement Award for Forgotten Man and the 2023 TIRC Award for Best Emerging Band.
